Not only during the production time but during the testing time certificates are being issued regarding the thickness and width of the foil. We even produce the Light gauge conversion foils as per the clients requirements. As per the price is concerned we provide Foils at a very minimal price to our clients.

RAVIRAJ FOILS LIMITED manufactures light gauge converter foil with the following general specification. The final product specifications made as per agreed contract with the customers.

FOIL MATERIAL

Aluminium alloy AA-1200 or AA 1235 conforming to Aluminium Association.Specification.

TEMPER

Soft (fully annealed; ‘O’)

SURFACE

One side matt and other side bright.

WINDING

Bright side out or dull side out.

THICKNESS

0.007 mm, 0.008mm, 0.009 mm and 0.012 mm

THICKNESS TOLERANCE

± 8% over nominal thickness.

PINHOLE COUNT

Shall be made of smooth ultrasonic welding through out the web width.

Number of splicing :

Average number of splices per roll shall not exceed 2 whereas maximum number of splices in a roll is 3 and the permissible frequency of occurrence will not exceed the limit shown below:
Consignment size having 3 splices Maximum number of rolls
1-10 rolls 2
11-30 rolls 4
31-50 rolls 6

Identification of Joints :

All splice joints will be flag marked for easy identification.

Core material :

Aluminium or Steel.

Core length & I. D. :

Flush or Protruded with 76 mm (+/-0.5 mm), 102 mm (+1.5/-0.5 mm) or 152 mm ID (+2.5 / 0.5 mm)

Reel OD :

700 mm maximum

Roll width :

950 mm maximum ± 1 mm.

Finning :

Finning caused by web misalignment shall not exceed 2 mm and shall not occur more than once in every three rolls.

Identification :

Each reel is identified with a ticket having reel number, specification, operator number and manufacturing date.

Packing :

Rolls individually wrapped, placed in top bottom combination wooden boxes with Silica Gel packets and making as specified by customer.

Test Certicates

 Test certificate incorporate (a) Thickness (b) Width (c) Wettability and (c) Number of joints. Any other information sought by the customer can also be given.
