Four Ply Packaging

RAVIRAJ FOILS LIMITED manufactures four ply having the following structure.

Paper/ Poly/ Foil/ Poly

This ply is suitable for packing of Pharmaceutical Products such as Tablet, Capsules, Oral powders etc., with the following general specification. The final product specifications are made as per agreed contract with the customers.

FOIL MATERIAL

Soft Aluminium foil made from alloy AA 1200 / AA 1235 conforming to Aluminium Association specification.

PAPER

White Glassine having the thickness of 41 GSM ± 10%.

LDPE

Colorless LDPE conforming to the applicable Government regulations regarding direct contact with medicines and drugs as a sealant layer and also as adhesive to bind foil and paper.

PEEL STRENGTH BETWEEN FOIL AND POLY

Minimum 200 g/15 mm.

PRINTING

Printed as per text, layout and shade approved by customer.Printing inks are capable to withstand 180ºC for 1 sec. dwell time.

Printed and un-printed 4 Ply are available in the reel forms.
Winding Direction :	Generally printed or clear paper side is out with LDPE film inside.

Splices :	Butt type made with 25 mm pressure sensitive tape.
Reel Outer Diameter :	Slit Sizes :	Plain and printed with < 100 mm width : 275 ± 5 mm max. Plain and printed with > 100 mm width : 375 ± 5 mm max.
	Jumbo Size :	500 ± 5 mm
Reel Wander :	Within ± 1 mm
Reel Width :	Plain : 45 mm to 850 mm with a tolerance of ± 1 mm Printed : As per art work with a tolerance of ± 1 mm
Joints Per Reel :	Maximum 2. Average less than 1.
Identification :	Slit size reels are packed in cardboard carton.Jumbos are packed on wooden pallets.Relevant markings are provided in each outer package.
Recommended Operating Conditions :	Sealing temperature : 140 to 160ºC Sealing pressure : 4 to 6 Kg/Sq.cm Dwell time : 0.5 sec.
Test Certificates :	Test certificates giving the actual observed values of different parameters would accompany the supplies.
